Our Services
Reliant Gem Lab offers a “While You Watch and Wait” jewelry appraisal service from a highly trained and certified expert. Robert Bauman is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of service in the jewelry and design industry.
Included in your appraisal will be:
1.) Two copies of a legal Insurance Replacement Appraisal document.
2.) A close-up digital image of your jewelry to archive any necessary details. These magazine worthy images can be sent to you via email for your personal records.
Although Reliant Gem Lab provides a convenient “While You Watch and Wait” appraisal service, you are not required to stay for your appraisal and may return at a scheduled time to pick up your items and documentation.
PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally, items will require additional time and or research and the appraisal fee will increase. Some items, as lovely and precious they are to you, will not require appraisal. To avoid any confusion about either of these instances, please contact by phone at (503) 819-6305 or through our appointment booking application.

PLEASE NOTE: Reliant Gem Lab does not buy or sell jewelry. Rather, we study our customers' jewelry to create a detailed appraisal encompassing the identity, condition and current value of their gems and jewelry.
